Gender Transitions
Treatments
Sara can provide the following specialist treatments.
Semi-permanent makeup (Micropigmentation)
Semi-permanent make up can be applied to the eyebrows for anybody who wishes to enhance the beauty of this feature of the face. Hypo-allergic pigments are placed into the dermal layer of the skin once the eyebrows have been measured according to their accurate symmetry.Once the shape and pigment choice has been arranged, the treatment is carried out. The brows frame the face and give a more youthful appearance.

This is also very effective for anybody who suffers with sparse eyebrows and Alopecia.

Effectively, after the healing process and two treatments up to six months, the pigment will stay in the skin for a number of years fading with time, dependant on clients age and type of skin.

Medical Tattooing
For Male to Female clients, this procedure is offered to those who wish to again enhance the pigment of the areola for cosmetic reasons if they feel that the areola is too light in its natural colour. This treatment would be effective for any Male to Female clients who would like to create more of a feature of their natural areola both in size and depth of colour. It is often used in conjunction with breast augmentation surgery.

The areola shape is prepared according to symmetry with the other breast, pigments are discussed and a suitable colour is decided upon with the consent of the patient. The nipple can be enhanced using pigments to create a protruded effect. Two treatments up to six months and after healing are arranged to reinforce the colour of the areola.

For Female to Male clients, it is now possible to offer medical tattooing of the glans penis. This is carried out on those that have undergone gender reassignment surgery and have completed a phalloplasty. The tip of the penis can be pigmented to create an aesthetically more natural appearance. This involves darkening it in this area, using pigment colour that compliments the natural skin tones of the skin.
